Bottomless Women In Cinema

(Phil. 2:19-30)

INTRODUCTION:

In 1 Cor. 3:9 Paul says we are partners in the service of God. Although it is true, he said, referring to him and the other brothers of his time who were engaged in missionary work, We can also translate these words to each believer. All are called to be together with God. In Phil. 2:19-30 the apostle Paul shows us two examples worth emulating collaborators: Timothy and Epaphroditus.

1. COLLABORATOR TIMOTHY (vv. 19-24)

Timothy became very dear and useful to the apostle Paul. Timothy Paul speaks in very complimentary terms in several passages of the NT. Timothy was from Lystra, a Greek father and Jewish mother. Was instructed in the teachings of the OT and Paul himself apparently led him to the feet of Christ. On his second visit to Lystra, Paul enlisted in missionary service. We can see Timothy's faithfulness to his master in the pages of the NT, accompanying him to the end of his life.

Something about Timothy Paul says in chapter two of the letter to the Philippians is that really cared about the welfare of believers . Timothy service was moved by a genuine interest in addressing the spiritual, moral, emotional and physical needs of first-century believers. Paul mentioned that there were others who claimed to serve well, but were pursuing their own interests, instead Timothy, moved seeking the interests of Jesus Christ. Our interest in the welfare of others must be genuine also, what motivates us to serve others should be that the interests of Jesus Christ in the life of every believer to be safeguarded.

Another feature that is mentioned is that Timothy was strength of character. The character and Tim's entire life was full, subject to Christ. Timothy undoubtedly had to go through difficulties during subsequent growth and ministry with Paul, his Greek ancestry was a source of criticism among the Judaizing Christians. But despite all that Timothy was straight, honest and highly moral. We must also seek the strength of character to our ministry and our life in general. And if you need an emotional healing process of our trauma and emotional wounds, then we must submit to God's spiritual guide.

Timothy is said also that served in the gospel work . Here we highlight two words, first, service. Timothy's work was characterized by the service, his work was done with humility and faithfulness to the Lord who called him. He was a servant and his Lord was a servant too. The other word to highlight is gospel. Timothy's ministry was to proclaim the gospel to the lost and realize the gospel in the life of each new convert. Our work also must be faithful to the gospel and should not be replaced by something else.

2. COLLABORATOR Epaphroditus (vv. 25-30)

Epaphroditus Paul said it was his brother, colleague and comrade in arms. As brother Epaphroditus was a son of God like Paul, is say, was someone who had gone through the experience of conversion and could be among the members of the People of God. We find that all people under our responsibility are really brothers, sons of God saved by the redemptive work of Christ and believers under the lordship of Christ. This seems obvious, but we were surprised how many "members" of our churches have never had the experience of repentance and saving faith. This is achieved with an adequate discipleship.

Epaphroditus was also partner and comrade in arms of Paul . It is even said of him that was to risk his own life to serve the Philippians and Paul to do the same message and bridge information. It was because Epaphroditus missed the brothers of the church in Philippi and grieved with their afflictions. I could identify with the feelings and needs of his brothers and gave himself fully to meet their shortcomings. No doubt it was a fighter, and so we see our service. Our work is at the clock and our negligence may put in danger the salvation of many by not saving message to reach them in time.

CONCLUSION:

Timothy and Epaphroditus are two partners who can learn a lot. The most distinguishing characteristic of the two was the sincerity of his concern for the welfare of the believers and the will and energy they devoted to their service. But the requirement was to have integrity of character. Only when we reached the emotional healing, only when we have to heal our wounds and our past that we can serve in the work of the gospel. This healing is achieved by letting the gospel is a reality in our lives so we can help others also the gospel is a reality in their lives.
