Reporter Daniela Borzino Our teacher has shared these reflections on the University held on Wednesday April 23 at the Normal School in August.

Stretching the limits of the classroom

As we advance in another post in this blog, in 2007 there has been a workshop experience in the Computer using the free tools offered by Yahoo Groups.

A virtual group is a place on the Internet, private or public composed of people who fall into it with a common goal. All team members can access it with a computer connected to the Internet, with a subscription to the group. In this experiment, we have noted, the group was created as a closed space exclusively for teachers and students.

The main advantages we have observed in this experiment were:

Since last year Normal School Superior 3 through curricular instance "Computer Workshop" has begun implement the use of virtual groups as forums for communication between teacher and students information spaces and organization in the delivery of the various activities and practical work of the workshop. This experience has been launched with the use of free groups offered by the Yahoo site, has been a rewarding experience. Have been invited to tertiary level teachers to a workshop in which transmitted the previous year's experience with the intent to multiply the same to other instances curriculum. The workshop was held on March 13 with the assistance of several teachers, the same have been several projects that will develop throughout 2008.
